About Us

What is EarthLincs?

EarthLincs is Lincoln’s Climate Emergency Centre (CEC), part of a network across the country, bringing together organisations, groups and individuals to promote solutions to the Climate and Ecological Emergency and multiple social crises.

Why do we need it?

Our government is failing to protect us from the catastrophic effects of climate change. EarthLincs is a hub for information and resources to build strong and resilient local communities with the skills they will need.

What do we do?

We aim to provide the space and resources for people to meet and create. We offer a climate café, workshops, skill share sessions (e.g. mending, sewing, planting etc.), upcycling/craftivism, talks, exhibitions, recycling, film shows, etc and also facilitate a ‘library of things’.

Where are we?

Find us on Mint Lane, at the Mint Lane Hub, Lincoln (LN1 1UD), where we hold regular Saturday Drop-In sessions (2pm-4pm) and other activities. Eventually, we hope to establish the EarthLincs CEC in a vacant shop in Lincoln city centre and extend our opening times and activities.
