Welcome to Stuff to Borrow! This project has been funded by the UKSPF (UK Shared Prosperity Fund). It is a ‘Library of Things’ for the people of Lincoln – a community resource where members can borrow tools and other items of equipment at low cost. How does it work?
These libraries are opening in towns and cities throughout the UK. They operate very much like book libraries; tools and other equipment can be hired on a weekly basis for a nominal fee.
In order to be able to hire items you need to become a member. Membership costs just £1. Each item then has its own weekly hire fee.
Why use Stuff to Borrow?
Stuff to Borrow will:
- Save you the need to buy something you only use once or twice a year.
- Save space in your home. No need to store bulky items, STUFF TO BORROW does that.
- Help the planet by sharing with STUFF TO BORROW. It reduces waste & CO2 emissions.
- Help you with DIY, gardening, craft projects or partying. We have a wide range of STUFF TO BORROW.
At the moment we have around fifty items available for short-term loan. We hope to increase our stock as we grow the project.
